Travel Information

Direct flights to Valencia (VLC) are provided by a number of companies from major European hubs like Paris (ORY), Rome (FCO) or Frankfurt (FRA). Alternatively, there are several other routes with stopovers in Zurich, Munich or Madrid.

The airport is situated 8 km west of the city. There are convenient Metro services from the terminal to the city centre. Here you have a map of the airport: underground station and tourist info at the Valencia airport.

Valencia transport from the Airport

There are two underground lines which link the airport and the city centre: the line 3 (Rafelbunyol-Aeroport) and the line 5 (Marítim Serrería - Torrent Av. / Aeroport). The station is at the ground floor of the regional flights terminal. The journey takes around 25 minutes. Tickets: €4.90 (3.90 + €1 for the card).

  • To City centre (North Railway Station): Lines 3 or 5 - Xativa station.
  • To Joaquin Sorolla High Speed Railway Station: Lines 3 or 5 - A. Guimera station and line 1 - J. Sorolla station.
