Ames has an excellent bus system known as CyRide. The website which gives schedules and maps can be found here.
The fare is $1. We are investigating the possibility of providing participants with a free bus pass - we will update this page when we know more.
To get from the Comfort Inn at 603 S. 16th Street to Physics Hall, you will take the #9 bus in front of the hotel for 11 stops (16 minutes) getting off at Gilman Hall. From there it is a 3 minute walk to Physics Hall. A map of the #9 bus route can be found here.
